I spotted these on eBay.

$30 or so each
The plan is to use these to store and possibly ship the transmissions.

Obviously these cases are used, but I'm gonna be stuffing transmissions in them.
So - I don't think it matters if its a bit "icky" - cause gear oil is icky too!

Obviously, the trans wont fit with the bell housing still attached.
Nor will the transfer case be attached either.

I don't have a trans handy at my current location (they are in storage elsewhere)

I use "Action Packer" boxes for 3rd members
But the TRANSFER case wont fit readily in them

So I also want to see if these can fit a transfer case (or two!)

 

now, can I fit TWO transfer cases in the crate?
yes - the lid will close and latch

Well - those fit nice
And the are "water tight" - which means no gear oil stink

 

Nice find...the shipping is sort of a deal breaker but I sorta want one

what are the internal dimensions ?
