I figured I'd get less crap for this over here than in OT, what with all the geeks over here and all.

I'm always the guy that misses the band wagon. You know the type, quoting movies a year and a half after they came out, or discussing plot topics on last years season of CSI... But this takes the cake.

I am a pretty die hard Sci-Fi nut, I mean I would probably miss the birth of my second child if it coincided with the season premier of Battlestar Galactica, so I have NO idea how I never got into SG-1. I was home sick back in September and watched one of those all day marathons and got COMPLETELY hooked. I am now proud to say that I have downloaded the first 9 seasons, and am half way through season 4. I swear its like crack! I almost died laughing during 'Windows of Opportunity' (the Groundhog Day one). The dry humor they have just kills me.

I remember back in my early YT days Corey had a Stargate avatar and I thought to myself, "Maybe I should take a look, na he couldn't possibly have GOOD taste in Sci-Fi." Boy was I wrong.

So Corey I humbly beg your forgiveness for nor converting to the dark side sooner, and for having doubt in you superior wisdom.

Just thought I'd share.

 

SG1 is great! It gets worse though. you'll see. But you've got a long way to go before that!!

 

Someone mention StarGate
My ears were burning.

That is my alltime favorite show of any show.
I watch the reruns every night at 6 PM, and have seen them all a gazillion times.

 

I love Stargate! I started watching it during it's first season back when it was on Showtime (back when you got to see boobies occasionally), but stopped when I dropped Showtime. I really got back into watching shortly before SG Atlantis started. Now I set the VCR to tape (yes I still use VHS) ALL of Sci-Fi Friday. Now Battlestar Galactica has moved into the top position of my favs, with SG 2nd, and SG Atlantis in third. I've even become fond of the new Dr. Who.
