Start Up Screen 4Runner

This is a very silly thing, I know, but I have some images that I would rather see on my display screen other than the ones which Toyota uses for default. I've created the two folders like I should, and have downloaded the images to those folders on a blank thumb drive. The problem is that the 4Runner does recognize the thumb drive when I insert it into the USB port, but that's it. The screen simply says that no music files were found. Since it doesn't recognize any images on the thumb drive, I assume that is why it doesn't even give me the options associated with the startup screen or display off screens? Again, I know this is purely cosmetic, but I was wondering if there is a step that I may be missing? Do the files/images need to be a certain format, etc.? FYI, I have a 2020 4Runner.
