question for mac/ macbook users

i recently made the jump to a macbook, and i love it. its great.

my old desktop has a tv tuner card so i can watch and record tv. i was wondering, if anyone has had experience with such an item for macs?

i came across eyetv, but have yet to find anything else.

any input would be grand.

you looking for something for your macbook? Nothing is going to be internal but might be able to find a firewire device.

Miglia:

http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL....8.25.7.11.3.3 - I like this one better, as it has S-Video inputs.

Plexor- Uses EyeTV:

Edit:
I hope to pick up one of those, and a Mac Mini early next year. Great home theater option.

The Miglias work great! if you want something small and simple, i have the Miglia TvMicro

It works great, not as clear as a reg TV. It gets choppy as u run more programs. the ability to record and have a program guide is awesome!
Theres a new Micro Tv Mini that costs 149, its suppose to be clearer, but i havent used it. A salesrep at apple used a telephone antenna with some sort of adaper and attached it into the TvMicro thats plugged into ur mac via usb, so he can watch basic tv anywhere, of course with reception!

I may have a plextor box that you could pick up on the cheap. We ordered one at work and they sent us one for a Mac. This is the one we have. http://www.plextor.com/english/products/TV402UMac.htm I tried to get the guy who bought it to return it but he never did.
