PHP Nuke forum software
My friend Andy who runs the gaming server where we play UT 2004 and Counter Strike Source has a forum up.
We configged it last night after a member installed it.
The software no where compares to what we use here at YotaTech, but it was free.
The software has about 5 color themes you can pick from just like we have the different styles here.
Problem is we can not find in the admin area how to change headers and footers stuff for each of the themes.
Here is what we have so far.
http://www.allprogamer.com/modules.php?name=Forums
The logo that is in the upper left corner did say "Midnight" on it, as that is the theme.
We edited the ini file from the hard drive of the server via XPs Remote Desktop.
We put in Andy's logo to the folder, but the ini file resized his bigger banner to the smaller size of the theme.
We then edited the ini file to make the GIF 800x200, but it threw the blocks all out of alignment.
If anyone is familiar with this software, we could sure use a hand on trying to locate the theme area were we can edit this stuff.
He may just bag it and order VB software like we use here, as I can then set it up perfectly since I know my way around VB software.

Update...
Andy needs some help real bad.
That software we are using is junk, and he paid for the same forum software that we use here at YotaTech a few hours ago.
He can not get it setup, and if you would like to help him set this up, please PM me for his phone number.
He will accept a collect call from whoever can help him.
Please PM me for his phone # if you are qualified to help.
You would have to access his server via Windows Remote Desktop, as he does not have FTP or html setup on the server.
Apache is installed though, at least we think it is.

What about using a different forum? Have you tried using phpbb? I found that fairly simple to setup.
