MessageApp

whenever i shut down my Inspiron 8200 with XP i get a prompt. it says the following program isnt responding and it asks if i would like to wait or end the task.

the program is MessageApp

You have to find out what program is doing it. Do an MSCONFIG to see what happens at start up and do a CTRL-DEL to see the processes that are running before you shut down. Make two lists. Compare. See if you can figure out which program is not responding.

start -> run -> msconfig.exe ...find it under startup and uncheck it. You can probably uncheck a bunch of the other crap too

yea i do that about every week or so.
