Which keyboard to get?

I have a dilemma. I have a $75 gift card to best buy that I want to use to get a wireless keyboard and mouse I've been eyeing for quite some time. Oh yeah, and if anybody has any reason as to why I shouldn't go wireless... let me know. It's not going to be used for gaming, so lag isn't a problem.

So, here's what I'm trying to choose between:

Logitech MX3100 with Lazer Mouse

or

Logitech MX with Bluetooth

So, it's either a lazer mouse or a bluetooth capable desktop. On one hand, I'm not really sure how much more I'd like lazer over optical... and not even sure I'd be able to tell a difference. On the other, I don't have any bluetooth capable devices... yet. I'm sure I could expand to that later on and look at this purchase as an investment.

I already have a decent multimedia keyboard and mouse, but they're wired and it doesn't really incorporate into my future plans of building a media center type of PC, or a PVR kinda thing. Also, I don't know what else I'd want to spend that gift card on, and I know if I went and got the lazer combo, I'd have to fork over my own cash, and then find something else to spend the gift card on.

So, what would you do if you were in my situation?

I have the Logitech Elite "wired" keyboard as seen on my site and in the review section here at YotaTech.

I also have the wireless Logitech MX700 optical mouse which is very good.
The MX1000 that came out later is the laser one, but from what I have read, it is pretty uncomfortable.

You can get a combo package with my mouse and the Elite keyboard together for a pretty good price, and the combo package has the "wireless" version of my keyboard.
My friend Andy (Drew on the forum) his girlfriend has the latter combo I mentioned, and she really likes it.
No lag, and she can frag like mad with it too.
Her and I played for almost two hours straight last night, and she has no trouble with the wireless keyboard.

I do not see that combo package anymore, but they have one in Bluetooth that looks like my mouse and the Elite keyboard with Bluetooth.

I believe that is the same as your bottom pic.
I would go with that one.

either way you won't be disappointed, logitech makes great stuff. only thing bad about wireless is the batteries... i have rechargeables so its not too bad, but when you're trying to do something and they die, it's just annoying.

Bluetooth!!!! I hate nothing more than the big ole charger/infra-red bases that come with wireless products...almost makes it silly to be wireless!

the non-bluetooth one isnt IR, its RF... so either way is cool, personally i think bluetooth is a bit of an overkill for this application, and its limitations are 30', where rf is usually a lil more
