deleting pictures on photobucket

lol, this isnt a thread about "how to" delete pics. but i was wondering if i deleted a picture in one of my albums if all the pictures i posted on yotatech, and my build thread would turn to "X"'s. I have alot of blurry pictures i never posted, and if i delete a hundfull of un-posted picutres, will my build thread turn into all red X's?

I did this the other day and was fine. I transfer all of my pics to photobucket and then decide which ones to use. I went through and deleted all of the duplicates and it didn't affect any of my links. I think that it only turns your pics to "X"'s if you move or delete the pics that are actually linked.

thanks deathtrap.

how about if i was to move a picture in my truck picture album to mmy buildup thread album for example?

and the reason i asked is because i was under the impression the pictures were "numbered" so to speak, so if you deleted one, all the numbers would move backwards, and make all the picture links invalid

yes, you end up breaking that link. So you'd have to go back and repost after they had been moved.

so i can delete pictures, but i cant move them? i can deal with that. i just take pictures, upload them, and i dont check if theyre blurry beforehand, so i have all these blurry un-usable pictures cluttering up my albums

As long as you do not delete a picture that is posted in your thread you will be fine. No broken links.
