1 down tons to go. It's good to see, they gave him jail time. That might deter people from doing it. I am afraid they'll just move to foreign countrys. I noticed tons of illigal software, and they are al sites ending with .ru . I guess nobody can touch them over there, and I doubt it is high on the Russian governments list to do anything about it.

dont get me wrong, i hate spam with a passion but I've heard of drunk drivers killing someone in an accident and getting 6 months in jail.....now a drunk KILLS someone, destroys a family, tons of emotional damage of friends and relatives for years and years, definately for the rest of the parents lives.....and this guy inconviences 1% of internet users for about 5 seconds and gets 9 years in jail....whatever....

I think this is a complete miscarriage of justice. I hate spam more than the next guy, but I can't imagine people being incarcerated for my little inconvenience. It comes with the territory and the best thing you can do is to just delete it and not ever buy from them...they'll move on and stop doing it. It's a police state, if you ask me, where people are put in jail b/c of attempts at commerce.

This sucks and I hate spam, but this is just wrong.

ferreal....people who share kiddy porn dont get that kind of sentence....that seems more like a sentence you'd get for hacking into a bank and stealing 5 million dollars....

dont get me wrong I'm not gonna be protesting for the guys release, but was he at least given a warning first or something?
