Counter Strike Source server set up

Member Drew on the board here plays a lot of Counter Strike Source which is included on the Half Life 2 CDs.

He was playing on a good local WA. state server run by a guy from his campus at the University of Washington.

That server was to be shut down due to summer coming, so Andy (Drew) is renting a very good server hosted in WA. state.

If anyone here is into CSS, here is the webpage they have setup.
http://64.246.174.21/

That same IP above is what you enter in the game to enter their server.
I forget the port number though, so Andy will have to chime in here.
There are two port numbers, or in other words, they have two different CSS games running at the same time on the same server.

Strange, as I know Andy gets a very low ping.
I know it is hosted in the Weston Hotel in Seattle, and is very fast most of the time.

You got in OK without having to enter a port #?

no problems getting in without specifying a port #, which means the one i played on briefly uses the standard port (27015)

its an east coast - west coast thing, i get great pings to east coast servers ( < 30 ms )

I had around 160 ping there a min ago.. there were a whole lot of people in there. I've been playing mainly on cs_compound and de_port, those two are a lot of fun.

Servers moving to a more stable pipeline cause of recent lag issues. Be sure to update your bookmark.
New ip: 64.34.33.204 :27015 or 27016
