change it to mp3?

Ok so I have itunes on my computer and when using the burning program to make an mp3 cd It only burns like 75% of the songs because they all have to be in mp3 format so I was wondering if any of you knew how to change the format of a song? thx

ps I would use nero but itunes is so much easier

don't really know what format itunes is in.. but.. if you use nero (full version) there is a 'smart start'. which gives you a nifty menu system.. under 'audio', there is a button for 'encode audio files' which allows you to convert entire batches of files from one format to mp3...

never used itunes, but i mean.. cant be too much easier then clicking 'add' then highlighting all the songs you want to convert. and then clicking 'go'

Go into your iTunes Preferences and select Importing. From there, change the importing format to the MP3 Encoder. Now go back to your playlist and select all your non MP3 files and then go to Advanced > Convert selection to MP3.

This will make a copy of your existing files, it will not affect the originals.

Did that work for you?

Whats a super pita is converting all the itunes store files over to mp3 so I can play them on my Treo. You have to burn them to cd, then re-import them Can't wait til someone comes out with a converter...
