Hey all I just got a Uniden Model PRO 510XL off of ebay. Has anyone used this model before? Any thoughts on it. I saw the install on another pickup and liked the way it looked.

Great little basic CB, can be mounted just about anywhere. I've used the 520XL (has RF Gain) and the 538XL (the big brother) and have found them to be soild, reliable units.

 

I have one and it works fine for what I use it for. It has pretty good range and is decently clear for the money. The size was a big seller for me. I wanted something small that I could mount anywhere and that I could use on the trail. I'll try to get some pics of my install, I took out the ash tray in my dash and mounted it there, but I had to do some dremeling to the backside of the hole so the radio would slide in.

 

Good to hear about the radio. I would like to some different installs. I was thinking about it in the ashtray area but I don't know how well it will fit. Thanks for the responses.

put it in one of the radio slots with a plastic face plate it will give you room to add switches on the side for lights
