What is the differense between single and dual voice coil subs? Are the dual voice coil subs going to produce more clarity? I am looking at Eclipse subs. Thanks for the help I am new to this.

All voice coils do, is give you more options for wiring. For example a dual 4ohm voice coils, can either wire to 2ohm or 8ohm. They have nothing to do with sound quality.

A more important question would be what is the coil's inductance and total mass..
