which vendor?
I am looking for some high strand count 0 gauge for an amp install and am hoping someone has a good vendor recomendation that has decent prices... So far I have come across Stinger HPM for 4.25 a foot(more than I would like to pay) and Knu Concepts(i think that is there name) for 3.25(for the non oxygen free type) and 4.25 for the OFC.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that I should get the OFC or is it ok not to use it?
I would also like some rec's on ring terminals. I have used the plated type that you crimp(so far i think they suck, but it could just be me) and I like the Stinger Set screw type(but they are not very cheap)
My big 3 plus starter wire is being done with 0 gauge Stinger HPM wire.

I would say take a look at the wire from Kicker, I have used it and it works great. The wire is very flexible and has a high strand count. All of the wire is going to expensive because of the size and all of the manufactures are getting charged more for the copper in the wire. Make sure to use wire that is oxygen free or else your wire will not last very long because it will corrode. On your ring terminals crimp them in a vise and then solder the wire to the terminal. The started wire doesn't really need to be done in o gauge because it is a pretty short run and the amps that are pulled of it when starting are for a very short time. If you are going to do powers make sure and do your grounds as well.
