Some one just gave me a new set of pioneer TS-E1660 speakers (4 of them). well I know they arent new, but they were rarely used. i was wondering if anyone knew anything about them, Are they any good? if so im probably gonna make them fit in my 4runner since the factory speakers sound terrible. Thanks for any help.

 

Well if they are Pioneer's, then all I can say is the PROBABLY are a lot better than factory, so I personally wouldn't question about putting them in.

 

just went and pulled a door panel, the new speakers should fit without any modifications. just need to change the connectors out so i can plug the new speakers into the factory wiring. i did a test run, and by holding the factory speaker with the stereo going, and then one of the new ones, its a night and day difference. i cant wait to hear it all put back together.
