Need some help creating my system...

I'm looking to replace the stock headunit and speakers in my 97 4Runner Limited and would appreciate if you guys could offer any advice/suggestions. I've been impressed with Alpine's price, reputation, and sound quality, so here's what I had in mind :

Headunit:
Alpine CDA-9830 In Dash CD/MP3 Player

Up Front:
Alpine SPR-176A 6 1/2" R-Series Component Two-Way Speaker

In the Back:
Alpine SPR-136A 5 1/4" R-Series Component 2-Way Speaker

In the Cargo Area:
Alpine Type-R SWR-1041D 10" Dual 4-ohm Component Subwoofer

I'm looking to mount the 10" sub in either a Q Logic or JL Audio stealthbox. If anyone has any experience with either of the enclosures or knows of a better/cheaper alternative, please chime in.

Thanks for the help!

That's a nice setup ... if you like it, go for it.

FYI. JL Audio Stealthbox comes with a JL Audio 10W0 Sub. QLogic box is empty.

I have the Stealthbox and love it. Sometimes I wish I had more bass, but I'm always glad I have the space in the back. Believe me, the sub kicks, just not really low really loud. I've got about 280W feeding it. 250W is the max JL recommends. I guess if I blow it, they won't cover it by warranty.

I noticed that on JL's site, but didn't know if I could find it elsewhere w/out the W0 included. How much did the Stealthbox with the W0 run you? Was installation difficult?

In my opinion the JL sub is better than the Alpine you are suggesting. I have the q-logic box, and it is adequate and easy for plug and play but is not as stout as the JL. Since I already had a JL sub to put in the enclosure I didn't buy the stealth box. Check out this post. The pictures do not show up but the advice is still there.

As for the speakers, compare them yourself at an audio shop. See how they compare to other brands. Your ears are the best judge of what you expect sound "should" sound like.

Thanks for the advise, I'll look into the JL Stealthbox instead of the Q Custom. Do you have any pics of the stealthbox installed I could see?
