I've not gotten a response to the post posted question about the T100 Tacoma rearend swap. At this point I am going to assume that this is a dumb question. I would also like to ask if anyone has a cheap used T100 rearend for sale. I have a 96 two wheel drive that I'm only going to be driving until spring and I will be swapping the body over to my 97 SR5 4x4. I don't care about the gear ratio is. I hate to tear this truck apart due to the fact that it came from inland Florida and has an absolutely rust free frame along with good suspension and steering gear. Want to go to the 4x4 so I'll sacrifice for it. I will be selling the complete running gear and frame once I have removed the body but don't want to sell the chassis with a bad rearend in it. Thanx for any information about the problem I'm currently experiencing. I would also consider buying a set of gears and purchase bearings and seals to rebuild the rearend I have if someone has these things oe even some of them, gears especially! By the way the trucks never been in an accident.

 

Just a suggestion, But posting this in a appropriation category may get you more results. It looks like this thread, and a few others you have created are in the "site feed back" forum, a place for providing site feed back to the admin, not so much toyota help.
