I am planning a trip to Florence next Saturday the 24th to hit up either The Coke Ovens or Martinez Mine. I all depends on how deep the river is and if it is crossable. My friend Bill lives in that area and he is going to do a pre-run on Wednesday to check on the river - if it is crossable, we are going to go to the Coke Ovens and if its not, Martinez Mine it is.

So far heres the "for sures" going:

Myself - 89 4Runner, 3" lift, 33's, locker, lots of armor
Stacy - 07 FJC, 2.5" lift, locker, sliders
Bill - 96 (I think) Land Rover - 33's - solid axles
Klye - 95 Cherokee - 10" lift, 37" swampers, exo-cage, welded diffs

might consider the drive if its for martinez, been a couple years since i ran it.

The pre-run was done yesterday, according to my friend, ther river is only about 6 inches deep - so there should be no issue with crossing.

Therefore we are going to be going to The Coke Ovens! Meet up is going to be in Queen Creek at the Frys on Hunt Highway around 8-8:30ish

I'd really like to go but don't have that much time to burn. have fun out there. hopefully I can get in on the next run.

I've got a check in the mail so if it gets here tomorrow I'll definetely be going. I'll give you informed.
