EC4RJ - Drive In - Roadtrip itch

Am entertaining the idea of heading up to EC4RJ in late June, and combining it with a drive in since they have a lot up in PA. Camp every night, maybe one day/night at Paragon and see some other sights. Anybody interested?

This is looking more possible. Just bought a bunch of those glove box locks and might go up there to offer them to the troops. Not likely I will drive a trail but maybe ride along one day...

It's official, going to paragon. It will save me lots of time and packaging to sell the locks up there and will save people shipping costs. Going to use any profits to pay for the all the weekend gas, camping, food, fun, etc. for my GF and her sister, make a voyage out of it. Am going to post on some for sale boards when I have a definite plan. At this point I'm not going to take my truck onto the trails since I need it to get to clients, and am not going to be there more than one night, probably saturday. We willl probably hit a drive in movie on the way up friday night, camp and then hit paragon saturday. This should be fun...

It's not that far.

The first couple of years, EC4RJ was held in GWNF in VA. I drove down there a couple of times - not that big of a deal.

Too bad it moved up there, I'm sure I would have gone by now if it were still down here. How many people usually show up?

I didn't make last year's because of another obligation, but I heard there were 50-some rigs there last year. It moved to Paragon from GWNF because we outgrew the trails and the camping locations at GWNF.

I believe the Fall Colors run still takes place in GWNF, at least if/when it gets organized.

Depending on family and work obligations, I'm thinking about a day run up to the EC4RJ at Paragon.

That might be tough. I think they start early and nothing else happens during the day other than the trails. I'm not planning on getting there until sat afternoon...

I just came across this 4ROC forum, never knew they were here.

So what's the deal with 1st gen 4Runner glove box locks ? I might be interested in 1-2. Will be at the EC4RJ.

I'm still waiting for those locks, should be any day now since they're coming UPS ground. I have decided that I can't just take orders via email since I'd get flooded, so am going to use ebay and go to events like EC4RJ and peddle them. Will use the proceeds to pay for the weekend out and gas, food etc.
