Since you're driving a Peter built your options are wide open, unlike the 54" wide first gen 4runner/Truck cabin from the late 80's...

You didn't give enough to work with..

Are you thinking aftermarket or used seats, have you tried cleaning what you have or done a test fit/ride of what you have with her you might be surprised..

ive tried airing them out and spraying them down with cleaner nothing seems to work. she does sit fine it the stock seats but since im gonna be trial riding to start with im thinking possibly aftermarket or even something from a junkyard as im doing a "budget" build to start with. as far as a ride we havent been able to do one yet i bought it it and started gutting 90s-2000s stereo equipment that had what felt like miles of wiring that wasn't needed. plus i gotta pick up a starter and battery but wife has me on a no spending until other cars are running better.

"Rug doctor", with the upholstery attachment.

600xCarpet before1

600xInstall almost done2

Basicly pull them out and hose them down until the brown water goes clear, then hit it with the rug shampoo machine to get the water out.

The 2nd gen bucket fit well. Have decent bolster to keep you in them. Mine are from the salvage yard and weren't this color before I cleaned them up..

There is a thread in the 85+ section on what people have used, but just about anything can be made to work with a welder and grinder..

thinks for the tips unfortunately my carpet was beyond saving and was actually falling apart. My headliner is in good shape and I’m either gonna clean it or get a piece of fabric to glue over it. I managed to score a pair of 98 2 door civic seats that are in great shape for the age so I was working on getting the old mounts on the T4R seats drilled and got 1 seat drilled and ready this evening. Would of gotten more done but it’s starting to get in the 30s here and I don’t have a garage or anything to work in.
