I have. 1985 toyota pickup 4x4 22r. I bought a new power steering pump and there still seems to be a leak somewhere, i thought i seen it leaking out of the hole with the pin in it but im not to sure. Anyone else had this problem before?

 

I have a 88 pup 22re.power steering started leaking.a mechanic friend went through 4 cardones(reman)pumps,all leaked.bought one off a guy that has several late 80s toyota trucks (oem),took care of problem.at the time several diff part stores locally only had cardone pumps.for what it's worth(keep your old parts)rework cost time and money.
