Help with new wheels

Hello, first time posting. I have a 97 T100. When I bought it the wheels on it were off of a 2004 4runner. I recently bought a new set of wheels for the truck. They fit great on the front, but ran into an issue on the back. The back hubs have the ring that makes them lug-centric (I believe or its hub centric?) and the center hole on the wheels I bought are smaller. I thought no problem, I will just get some spacers. The more I have read about spacers and keeping the wheel on the ring that keeps it lug centric, the more I think that is not a good idea. From what I have read, some people thinks its not an issue and other think it is a big issue and puts a lot of pressure on the studs.

Is there a spacer that fits one size on the back of it and steps down to a smaller size for a different wheel? Is there some other kind of adapter that will keep it lug centric and allow me to use the wheels I bought? Any advice would be great. I may have to scrap what I was planning and start over. Thank you!
