Dying 22r

86 22r truck Overheated and blew head gasket. Blue Devil sealant added and it worked. Crossed hoses on clogged heater core ( stupid) and overheated while idling unattended for ten minutes. Now new leaks with water in oil. 30 days of sitting and I changed oil and filter , new sparkplugs and new radiator. No leaks!!!! Now won't idle running rough at low rpm but still flying at 70 mph +!! But two 100mile round trips to get load of firewood and starts overheating every 50 miles. Add one gallon water every 50 miles and all good. No smoke and no leaks that I can see. In town couple short 5 milers and starts overheat Added water but checking oil shoes milky gray. Changed oil and filter again and put Blue Devil head gasket sealant in again but directions say let idle 50 mins. Won't idle so I pedal play it and it revved too much. 30 mins. of that and oil has gone milky again. I bought oil and filter again and Kseal Ultimate head gasket seal . This just says pour in radiator and idle or drive slow til reaches normal temp. I have thermostat out now. QUESTION#1 : Should I put it back before adding Kseal? #2 : Should I take the plug out that's misfiring to relieve some pressure before adding Kseal? I've been using diesel motor oil 15w40 forever. #3 ; Should I put an additve in oil for what I believe may be it's last supper? I can't afford rebuild so it's a drive til drop situation. Hate to lose best truck I've ever had. 4spd 2 wheel drive that thought it was a Sherman tank!!

Put a couple .44 mag slugs thru the block, and walk away. Sad.

Unfortunately, like Millball said, that engine is done.

It is unlikely that adding more "head gasket in a bottle" will fix your engine.

I would start looking for alternative vehicles or other modes of transportation if you can't fix this engine.

I was only kidding about destroying any part that might be renovated.

Give sombody else a chance to make this truck live, if you cannot.
