Ran before head gasket replacement. Here's where I'm at. Engine cranks but wont fire. Seems to be no spark. No check engine light or codes. Disconnected the AFM connector and engine starts but dies after a few seconds and throws an ec24 which I assume is because the AFM is disconnected. Tested the AFM and got these results = e2-vs- .617..... e2-VC-. 000..... e2-vb- .000 Results appear to indicate the AFM is bad but I'm leery to drop the money forever chasing parts. I did have to replace the knock sensor and harness when replacing the head gaskets . I've checked the timing several times. The fact the engine starts and runs for a short time with the AFM disconnected is promising but could it be a false flag? Looking for confirmation. Thanks everyone.
