I ordered a winch from 4 wheel parts over the internet and they sent me a 24 volt winch instead of a 12 volt winch.I took all of my stuff to there store in Orlando FL. to be installed (winch bumper, winch etc.)and they call me and tell me we got your factory bumper off and went to install the winch and discovered they sent you the wrong one.So i have been waiting 1 month to get the appointment over there and the day finally comes for the install and they dont have the right parts. Thanks to the 4 wheel parts internet department. So they want me to take the winch back and have a truck pick it up at my house and when they receive the wrong winch they will send the right winch for a 100.00 more cause the mile marker winch that is 12 volt for my Tacoma is 100.00 + more. So ther I stand 50 miles from home, spent half my day, gas, waited a month, and my truck is taken apart, the manager is not thrilled cause my truck is taking up one of his bays for nothing, and the people at the internet customer service dpt wont do anything but blame mile marker for marking the shipping boxs wrong So now I have to wait for everything still.1200.00 dollars, one month,4 migrains,100.00 in gas,and still no bumper and winch. Conclusion to story DONT BUY ANYTHING OVER THE INTERNET AND DA*N SURE NOT FROM THE 4 WHEEL PARTS SITE. Now Jason the store manager at Orlando said he would take care of it but i still had to bring my bumper back to Lakeland unload it and take it back on the 25 th of march which is the soonest he could get me in again. No room in shop.

I deal w/ Kyle at the 4wheelparts store in Charlotte, NC., since I don't have a store locally. I find what I want, call him up, never had a problem...great service.

I avoid ordering "specific" parts like that if I can call over the internet. Now if it is pre-packaged stuff where you don't have to put in a lot of variables, then I do that sometimes. Just makes it easier IMO to call as then you have a person and their name with whom you can keep in touch to make sure your order gets done.

Good luck.

I ordered the Pro Comp 3000 shock and steering stabilizer combo on the internet a couple of weeks ago, I was sent the wrong steering stabilizer.

4Wheel Parts just opened a store in Albuquerque last week, I took the incorrect part to them and the Manager John happily exchanged it for the correct one.

I really appreciated the great service and just want to say something good about being treated right...

there are several threads around here about 4 wheel parts crappy service......

i only go there or order online if i need a part and know the part number... their site and store customer service sucks.... they have this thing we install everything we sell.. i wnated spring perches for an soa... i asked them how much it would be to weld them on, and he said they dont do it.. told me to come back in 2 hours and he would ahve the name of someone who could do it for me...... said it would probably be liek $600 ..... i was like this place sucks balls, and turned around and left......
