Positive locking Diff locks

Im planning on getting the Detroit EZ locker which I can get for 220 bucks to my door. What do you guys think about this particular ratcheting locker compared to others such as lockright, etc. Im thinking this will be the best and toughest locker or its kind I can get. It seems like the best choice and is the same price or cheaper then the others.

What do you guys think. Reliability, install, performance, price....

shouldn't be bad at all... for that price, its great... its a locker, and once you understand and accept what a locker does both good and bad, it will be fine

I've heard the EZ-lockers aren't as refined (if you can even say that about an autolocker) as the Aussies but once you get used to driving with it it'll be fine

I have a detroit ez locker

you will think the rear axle is breaking all the time due to the noise it makes, but once you get use to it, will be fine

I am going to Hatteras NC in two weeks to surf, will be on the beach with it alot, and I am sure it will pay dividends there

The EZ's seem to pop and bang alot more than the lockright and the ausie locker, but they work fine. I have heard of them stripping more often than the lockright, but first hand i only know of a couple, and one of them was due to a bad installation.
