Cornfed still considered the best spacer lift for the 4x4 tacomas?

Toytec is giving Cornfed a run for its money, might wanna take a look at them too. I had the 1.5" spacers up front before my SAWs and loved 'em.

I'm very happy with my Revtek spacers up front. Seems to be the optimal combination of spring and top-out spacers.

I would recommend the Cornfed spacers, but go with the 2.5" NOT the 3"...the customer service at Cornfed is absolutely amazing!! Top-notch guy who is willing to work with you until you are COMPLETELY satisfied.

I'd go Cornfed.

why 2.5 and not 3"?

can you add top outs to get that extra .5"?

I did the 3" spacers and had some pretty bad CV problems...you can do it, but be prepared to have to deal with leaking CV boots.

I've been running this lift for almost a year, with 0 problems with my CV's. You can get a complete kit w/ diff drop. The customer service is excellent. I'm very happy with the quality vs. price. Obviously they aren't bling coilovers, but they do work. Very little settling, also. I'd do it again in a second.

There's been a few long threads on issues w/ Cornfed spacer lifts causing vibration. I know there hasn't been any concrete info on this but I've yet to read about a Revtek spacer lift that went bad. Revtek's lift is also 3" BTW.

I have the TOYTEC 2.5 front spacer...unfortunately its sitting on my garage floor right now. Hope to have it installed soon and I will be sure to post my findings! Good luck.

I'm going to suggest this again because I didn't get any acknowledgement from your other thread - if you've got front CVs then don't go any further than the 2.5" cornfeds. Use 4x4fink's experience. If you really want to go that extra height, pickup a 4crawler 1" BL kit.

Fink - sorry man, I completely wasn't thinking about the CVs when we were going back and forth about the Cornfeds. Somehow I didn't make the connection.

Not a problem man, overall I think this will be the best route to go...I've got 4 jobs lined up next week so that will help pay for it.

Good luck with the spacers man, I would NOT go any higher than 3" (spacer height) with CV's, 2.5" spacers would give you the perfect amount of lift, or 3" spacers and then throw on a TJM and a winch and you'd be set.

Though they are called a 3" spacer, for a Toyota with V6 and 4WD they provide 2.5" of lift. You can see my thread with measurements here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/lift-installed-22776/

Apparently 2.5" overall lift (I think I ended up getting more than this) is too much for the CV's to handle, going with the 2.5" is the way to go unless you are going to get a TJM/ARB then the 3" spacers will be fine with the additional weight.
