83 pickup RUF with Alcan springs

I have a set of alcan springs off the rear of a first gen 4runner. I was going to make a bastard pack with a few other sets of rear springs in a RUF/Chevy 63" rear setup. I'm looking for input specifically in using the Alcans for the front pack. Anyone tried it? How do they do with leafs added or removed? I'm not attached to them either, literally got them for free.

Its gotta be better than starting with a 30+ year old stock pack. The nice thing about leafs is you can always just swap more in or take some out.

I built mine off new OME leafs and it worked great.
