33's and 4wd
New to the forum! Just got a 99 Tacoma the other day and am already in love, couple questions though! First, down the road I hope to be Rollin on 33's, I think with a 2 inch leveling kit from skyjacker, and a 2 inch BL would make them fit right? Is there a better combo out there for around the same money? Also tonight I was trying to flex up on this rock and was trying to go into 4wd but I'm not sure if it actually went into 4wd, is there a light that is supposed to come on? It's my first time using a manual transfer case and a manual trans so bear with me lol
Thanks!
Thanks!

Don't quote me on this because i am also new to the forum as well as new to trucks, but from the research I have done I believe you should be able to fit 33x10.5 with out any major lifts or body work. i believe you may have hammer the pinch weld but besides that you are okay.
Now you may run into more issues if you run a 33x12.5 and i haven't done any research on that so I can't tell you what to look out for.
Now I believe all trucks should have a light that comes on when you go into 4x4, if its not turning on, you may have a problem with your 4x4, someone else who knows more about that stuff would have to chime in since I don't know much about that.
Hopefully that helped!

Yes a light should come on. It could be the switch or a plug not connected. Or the transfer case not working. Or (most likely) the 4wd actuator on the front differential is malfunctioning.
