I wouldn't use a gasket.
Not even sure there is one there.
I'd have a good look at the Factory service manual before I took it apart.
I'd degrease the surfaces thoroughly with acetone or similar and use Toyota red FIPG or Permatex Ultra-Grey to reseal the clamshell
