What to Pay for 84 LC FJ60

I'm new to the forum, but have been looking at purchasing a Land Cruiser, but have no idea what I should pay. I am currently looking at an 84 FJ60, 164,500 miles. No rust, interior has been completely redone, exterior is in very good condition, no dings, rust, damage. Brand new Mickey Thompson 33's. Engine is clean, looks pretty good. The seller is asking $7900. Is this a good price or should I look/offer something different? I am looking for a daily driver as well as something fun for camping, hunting, fishing, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to YT! You might want to ask at iH8MUD, the Cruiser board. Gotta be one nice cruiser if they want that much and you say it's clean. Price sounds about right (maybe on the high side) based on all the clean ones I have seen for sale when I look occasionally. Dunno if you're set on a 60, but you can get an 80 for that price range and have a tad more comfort. But there's that draw of the 60-series...man, I wish I could afford one of each series cruiser...

Anyways, I normally see 60s going for 5-8k in good condition. Less if they need work and more if they're cherry. Always comes down to what the buyers willing to pay. It's worth it to someone out there.
