Land Cruiser to play with my 4runner!

I know 4runners but I don't know LC so I thought I would ask a pannel of experts! I think I want a 91 or 92 LC They seem to be in my price range. I want something bigger, more comfortable, and nicer than my 4runner. I know they are pretty slow, can they cruise at 70 on the freeway? Can I put 87 in it or do they need 92? Is there a diesel version? My 4runner has 4.88's, a locker, 30lb flywheel, 33's and a 6.5" lift. It still gets arounf 14 mpg. I hear talk of 11mpg for the LC's. If I leave it stock except for better shocks and tires what can I really expect to get? my 4runner is 5spd. Is an automatic LC alright or should I hunt for a manual (probably hard to find knowing that most soccer moms can't drive stick while drinking a mocha latte).

Since I don't own 1, I can't say 100%, but 87 octane should work fine. 11 mpg sounds a little low to me, but not by much. It would be fuel injected so it might be better than I think. Diesels were not USA, but Canada has a lot of them. Not sure how easy it would be to find a 5 speed version, but would do better fuel and off road.
