It may not be equipped and it won't lock the rear diff by putting it in low range. There will be diff lock buttons on the dash somewhere. Also you will see the actuator on the side of the diff if it has an e-locker.

no problem. If it doesn't have a center diff lock then you can get a switch from Slee Offroad. It will plug into your wiring harness. They have tons of stuff for your truck and knows everything...

If it has lockers there will be a round knob just to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. If you have the knob then you have a front and rear locker, if no knob then you just have a Center Diff. Lock (CDL). The CDL will engage when you put it in 4L and start to roll. There is a light that will come on and your ABS light will come on with it. If you go to ih8mud.com you will find a lot more info on land cruisers.

I saw a truck in a used car lot that had a dash knob and then I checked the diffs and saw that they were not lockers. Look to the drivers side of the rear driveshaft where it goes into the third member of the differntial, you will see the shift motor sticking out at you. If both sides of the third look the same you do not have lockers. The wiring is in all trucks you need to get the computer and either buy locking axles or mod yours to install locking third members.
