what do you guys think about this deal for $3800? owner said the interior is 9 out of 10, exterior is 8/10 due to rust around wheel wells. he says the economy is 16/20 city/hwy, with a light foot. reasonable? good deal?

thanks in advance, bk.

That thing is SWEET!!! I had no idea it was a LC. I think I might just have to take a drive to Reno, and take a look at that thing.

FJ-62 should be a gas engine. I think the diesels were BJ-62

Looks sweet though. They don't usually get that good of fuel MPG, must be a VERY light throttle.

stormin94, the truck is in carson city, so you better schedule another hours worth of driving.

Yoda, yes it is a gasser. my original post (before editing) was pertaining to... what toy diesel engine(s) would be the easiest swap(s) (ie bolt right up to the tranny etc)? and provide a good balance of torque and economy? some of my clicking turned up the B series, H series...

I have wanted a LC for 20 years now, but i think i will keep wanting for lack of funds, and keep driving and slowly building my "poor man's LC".
