Is this normal

Hey all, I bought my 2016 tacoma TRD off road auto a couple days ago (used at 4k miles) it's not throwing codes so I assume this is normal, I just want to make sure, can't hear it in the cab but when the wife started my truck last night and I was standing by the tailpipe it sounds like it has a miss when it first starts up for half a second to a second or so...... Has anyone else noticed?

I hate to say it but Tacoma World is a lot more active with the new trucks. It sounds like something normal with the engine but I don't know. You should join the Toyota owners site http://www.toyota.com/owners/ and register your VIN to see what maintenance has been done. There have been two TSB software updates. I've had them done and all the weirdness is straightened out for now. I had hesitation when I hit the gas. It's gone now and I'm back to loving the truck. My '16 Sport has just over 5k miles now.
