Hey everybody. I'm going to try the Zuk mod as an alternative to new leaf springs on my 89 2wd stock DLX. I rarely have it loaded up with more than 600 lbs of tools or debris. I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for which length and rating the springs should be. There is a lot of info on here but not too much I could find for non-lifted 2wd. A little rake would be fine, but I am afraid that if I go with the 14" #125 it will be overly doodle-bugged. Any thoughts? Thanks. I am pumped to join this awesome community.

 

I just measured the gap into which the spring will go with the bed unloaded with the truck sitting on the ground and added 3 inches. I dont remember exactly how long mine came out to but it was a really easy mod and has added some much needed stiffness to my 90 pickup. Ten mins in the junkyard and $20. was well spent.
