I'm looking around for a used A43D transmission to replace the one I killed. I'm trying to make sure I don't buy anything incompatible. Basically I want to be sure I don't end up with the A340E. My question is: was the A340E only put into the 4x4's or was it also put into 2wd Tacomas for my year? Is 2.4L the only 2wd automatic engine size for '99? Thanks.
