Looking pretty up ˟˟˟˟ creek on what I hoped was a good salvage strategy for my '94 22re, and looking for any mechanic/shop suggestions in the Bellingham to Seattle area that will install a remanufactured engine I'm purchasing.

Truck: Pushing 270k miles, set of engine issues including potentially cracked cylinder head. On the recommendation of a co-worker, got lined up with S&J Engines in Spokane and am ready to go that route for a remanufacture at a price point and warranty that works for me. Can't get a single guy in town to agree to install customer supplied parts or take on such a job. One custom shop would take it with a 2-3 month wait list. Another will install if they source the engine--"could get one from NAPA in 2 days." No thanks.

Any recommendations? Located in Bellingham, can have her towed within a 100 mile radius.
