How to find a good Toyota mechanic
I've been hoping around from one place to another for years depending on what I want done and where I'll be. I haven't found one that completely satisfies me. I know word of mouth is usually best, but I don't know any other toyota owners in the area.
There is a new dealership that opened nearby that I am tempted to try. I know most on here usually stay a way from the "stealerships" but they are close by, assumably know Toyotas, and have a comfortable waiting area. I usually wait while my vehicle is worked on so that is a factor. I'd be comfortable paying a little more to know that a mechanic knows what they are doing and aren't going to try to rip me off.
Are there any websites that rate mechanics I should look at? What do you look for?
I am in southern NH near 101 and would be willing to drive to Manchester, the seacoast, or anywhere in between. So if anyone from this area can recommend a reliable mechanic that would be great.
