Anyone know if a 255/85/16 bfg-KM2 will fit in the stock spare location under the truck? (02 4runner) Thinking it might be a good idea to have a full size spare....

 

Yes... Well a Maxxis Bighorn of that size fit under mine. At first I thought it wouldn't, but I winched it up with the tire perfectly flat and it fit.

I had a factory tow package on mine (97), and it barely fit in between the hitch and crossmember.

 

If you have a stock bumper it will. I have a 2000 limited. Once I put on my custom fabricated rear bumper it wouldn't fit so now I am working on a swing away tire carrier.
