Who knows somethin bout the contacts?

I looked around this forum and Maint. Couldn't find the info via search so hey,

What contacts (replacing all) do I need to order for a 97 starter? I don't have much time to piull the thing out and replace it so I 'd like to know what to get. I plan on making the purchase here and I do realise that I can send the non-used ones back for almost refund but I thought id be easier to ask all ya all. If I should just get em all and send the extras back tell me to

-Stu.

I would just order the parts from TOR (Todd) here on the boards. He got them to me for under $20 shipped. He works for a toyota dealer and is really good about getting you the right parts very cheap. The rebuild kit comes with all new O-rings, contact paper, terminal bolts and contacts. My bolts were filthy and worn (they're copper)the O-rings were slightly melted from the heat of the header. If you're going to go to the trouble of pulling the starter, might as well replace all the asst'd parts while you're in there. I also cleaned up the plunger very good with a wire brush, no need to replace that, it still makes good clean contact. I used the writeup in the tech section for pointers.

On it. I have dealt with Todd before. Thanks for your good advice, makes sense to replace all the components while I have the thing yanked out too.
