Just a quick question,
We use this stuff in helicopter transmissions and it is awesome. It is subject to extreme pressures and shearing loads. I've looked it up on the royal websight and it doesn't seem like it would damage anything. I am thinking about using it in my differentials, I am a little leary about putting it in the tranny because of the synchros, but sorta curious about using it in the diffs because of the same kind of loads imposed by a helicopter tranny and a vehicle differential.

Anyway, tell me if I am crazy. I am a kind of person that looks for a superior product of anykind rather than use what the owners manual says just because it says to.

 

Why? What is wrong with gear oil? A diff should last you a lifetime if you change the gear oil every once and a while.

 

Looks like a great product....designed for a completely different application.

Personally, not in my axle until someone had run it for 50k with no harm...
