does anyone know what years they put these in the trucks? idk what section its supposed to be it... i'm in the market for a new truck and would like to get one that has the factory locker in it but i have no idea what years they used them... oh and another question, does the 3.4 have as much of a lifespan as a 22r/re?

 

E-locker was available on Tacomas from 1995.5-present. 3.4 V6 is a superb motor, should last as long with the proper maintenance. Taco frames aren't as tough as Hilux or pre '95.5 trucks.

 

i'm not lookin for an off roading truck, i have my 88 for that, just a new dd but i would like the locker if its available just in case
