Tacoma lift Sonora Vs OME Vs?
I have a 96 Tacoma extra cab V6. I want to lift it a bit and run 265 to 285/75R16 tires on it (33X10.5R15 and 255/85R16 are options as well) I am not interested in running anything as wide as a 12.5. (Also, does about 4 inches of backspacing sound correct to minimize rubbing?)
My main goal is, (other than a bit more clearance and general off-roadability) to run somewhat rough dirt and gravel roads at a decent speed.
I am planning on getting something like the All Pro bumper and a winch at some point in the future.
Which lift would serve me best? Sonoran Steel lift #6, OME or a coilover like All Pro?
It seems that by having a 96, it will be a little trickier to find rear springs--I know I can get some from Sonoran...any other options?
My budget would be in the ballpark of $1000--a bit more is ok.
I have searched, but not really turned up much Tacoma specific, mostly 4Runner.
Thanks.
