Stupid question

I was reading up on changing the fuel filter and was wondering...what exactly is a banjo bolt? Do you need a special wrench for it?

Thanks

A banjo bolt is a bolt that allows fluid to pass through it (hole drilled lengthwise and one drilled crosswise).

You don't need a special wrench generally speaking. I don't know why they are called banjo bolts. Maybe because they used them for some evil purpose in Deliverance?

Hope this helps.
