Steering Wheel Trim

Ok, I know a lot of you guys out there are going...AAARRRGGG! This is meant mostly for the LTD guys that like the wood look in our Runners. Please no bashing here...some of us do actually like the look.

Here's a Pic of the Steering wheel trim ring I just installed. Thought you would like to see the color match to the Factory Trim. Got This from Jason B over at www.burtmanindustries.com. This is in my 02. I know it's not a full pic of the wheel itself but Jason has one of those over on his site. I mainly want you guys to see the color match to the factory pieces. Only difference in his pic is wood color and number of spokes of the wheel.

Out of the Box it is a very thin product...Wasn't sure I was going to like it at first and then I put it on the wheel. It needs to be thin and a little flimsy (doesn't feel that way on the wheel, BTW) You just place this over your existing wheel, smooth out all the way around with your hand to get it to fit good and your done. Takes about 20 seconds. You can also in stall with 3M tape which is on the ring when you get it. Mine's on without the tape and no problems.

Well, it came out great! This is the first mod I did to my own truck. Gives it more of that "lexus look" inside, while it still have the great rugged looks outside.
