So my door handle broke off in my hand today while tring to get into my truck. Talk about getting pissed off and laughing at the same time. I couldn't belive this happened. Now I have to go to stealership to get a whole new handle. I know that they are not going to have it in stock so i am going to have to fight all week with that dam door Oh yeah this happened a week after my brother drove my truck while i was out of town into the boat trailer and broke my brand new Hella light

sorry for the rant thanks

sucks, but you should be able to find a 96 taco door on craigslist or the local boneyard. It is a very easy repair....see the FSM link in my signature and you will find the manual you need if you have questions

Sounds like your brother should say away from steering wheels...

Wow, that really sucks. Could be worse though. At least you have a solid running engine. I'd give all of my door handles + bed for a solid running engine...lol

don't pay the dealer $100+ for the door handle! you know and i know it's going to be ridiculously priced. there are quite a few trucks being parted out around this site that'd be worth checking into- just go to the "for sale" section and inquire there! good luck man. definitely would be aggravating if it were my handles broken!

You can find many different parts on this website and many other websites like it. Cheap too!

becareful with the aftermarket ones. They are common to break on the older Camry's and the after market ones never fit right or work right. They usually stick out, bend as u lift the handle, and don't open the door unless you pull the handle all the way up.

So I went to the stealership and they wanted 93.56

So I walked out there without it and I am on the hunt by myself. I thought about the cheapo knock off and desided against them beacause the reasons stated in the above post. Oh yeah and my brother is never going to drive my truck again.
