Shaky at high speed
Hey, I've been visiting yotatech for years, but I just joined today. I just got my first 99 Tacoma last summer. I don't do much high speed driving because of where I live, but i've noticed that when I do get up to speed the whole truck starts shaking. I've had some people tell me it's my allignment, but I thought I should ask you guys first. the weird thing about it is sometimes it'll be fine up to 75, but other times i can't go over 60 because it starts shaking so bad. it'll do it going both uphill and downhill, and it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold.

U-joints? Alignment? Wheels/tires out of balance? Motor mounts gone awry?

Could be a number of factors. Tie rod (inner) wear is what springs to my mind as this is what I am having fixed soon. Have the alignment checked and they should be able to check your tie rods at the same time.
