Ok, i just picked up a sport hood for $150 earlier today.

It is perfect, just needs some paint and the mesh that goes in the scoop.

So i need a few things if anyone has them.

1: a mesh piece from someones old spot hood that i can buy (deathcoger, got any?)

2: The part number for that piece so i can order it

3: Where yo got one if you have purchased one before.

4: pictures of your sport hood with that piece so i can see how it is mounted and works. Then i can look at making my own.

76182-35020 Guide, Hood Air ($13.58) this goes behind the mesh piece
76184-12020 Protector, Hood ($0.71) Don't Buy
76185-35010 Protector, Hood ($7.00) Don't Buy
90263-04054 Rivet ($0.57) these hold the two pieces into the bulge
90167-45005 Screw, Pan Tappin ($0.72) this holds the "retainer" piece on the "bulge" and snaps into the hood
76183-12030 Protector, Hood ($0.71) Don't Buy
90179-06324 Nut ($2.20) there are 4 of these that hold the "bulge" on the hood
76187-35010 Retainer, Hood ($0.89) see "Screw"

 

Thanks, what is the Bulge Hood exactly BTW? Is that the actual scoop? It is expensive! i think i might have a line on one for cheaper though, will have to see if they come through next week...

I wil have to pick up the rest from Toyota next time i drop by. Or havent i heard about some toyota dealer that gives like a 25% off discount for YT members?
