Replacing 15's with 16's?

Just a quick question, I have stock 15's on my 96 Runner and I want to know if I"ll be able to put on 16's. I read in another thread that you can't replace 16's with 15's because of the big rotors. But can you replace 15's with 16's without having to change the rotors?? Gracias

sounds like a easy upgrade. the rotor clearance shouldn't be an issue at all. stock 16s will be a no brainer -- aftermarket rims will require your attention for bolt pattern and offset.

I went from the stock 15" steel wheels to a set of 16" alloys from a Tacoma Double Cab and have no problems.

It will be the stock 16's, so basically all I'll need is to get new tires right? And what's the avg price for use (but good condition) stock 16's? thanks.

Yup, you'll need new tires. I got my rims with the tires for $500 from an individual who put 21" rims and z-rated tires on her 2003 tacoma. The tires only had 66 miles on them, so I think I got a good deal. The tire size is 276/70R16.
